Scientific conservation reconstruction, made with the painting technique and technology and materials employed by Raphael in the early 16th century

  • Technique:  oil-resin technique + tempera grassa on wooden support, 60.5×77×1.5 cm. Technological reconstruction of a Renaissance frame (cassetta), fine-grained pine, covered with gesso ground + gilded sgraffito technique (23¾ carat, natural azurite)
  • Frame dimensions: 85×107×6 cm
