- based on Lucas Cranach the Elder -

Scientific conservation reconstruction of the painting, made with the painting technique and technology and materials used in the early 16th century by Lucas Cranach and his workshop

  • Technique: oil-resin technique and egg tempera on linden support, 44×34×0.8 cm
  • Support: technological reconstruction of a late Gothic frame integrated with the painting (so-called cassetta)
  • Frame dimensions: 55×44×6 cm, linden wood covered with chalk-glue mortar + bolus gilding (24 carats + silver)
